What is the Retired Landlord?
The Retired Landlord is my personal blog that documents my effort to build wealth through real estate. I am far from where I want to be. As it stands now, I have not made my first real rental property purchase. I am working to plan my approach into real estate while saving up a down payment. In the next year or two, I plan to make my big entrance into this new field of investing and document every step along the way.
I have already read multiple books about real estate investing, continually talk to my friends who are already doing it, and constantly look for the ideal rental property. Real estate investing is a great long-term investment and I plan to use it to retire early. It is only part of my early retirement plan, but it is an important one.
